Küçük serçe

Dead Sea Sparrow

Dead Sea Sparrow / Küçük Serçe, Birecik, Şanlıurfa, 2022 ********************************************************************* Dead Sea Sparrows live and breed in scrubby and woody areas only in Middle East countries including Türkiye, Iran, UAE, Israel and the areas among them. In Türkiye, they have been recorded in the provinces between Mersin and Şırnak. They feed on seeds and small insects like other sparrows. They migrate short distances and usually hang out in small flocks. I love the colors of their plumage and I had chances to capture them a few times in Birecik with the help of dear friend @colkasarahmet. Thank you brother.
